RV Technical Support Specialist

Salary: $20.00–$30.00 hourly

What you will do

• Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to customers, service facilities, and internal departments.
• Guide RV owners through troubleshooting operational issues with clear, empathetic, and professional support.
• Manage the call queue and maintain a calm, patient approach with frustrated customers.
• Explain program coverage and answer customer questions accurately.
• Document customer interactions and resolutions in the appropriate systems.
• Diagnose issues involving RV electrical systems, appliances, plumbing, chassis, braking, suspension, powertrains, and drivetrains.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA; the role is remote within the United States.
• Knowledge of RVs and roadside assistance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard web applications.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Strong knowledge of RV components, systems, construction, brands, models, and configurations.
• Understanding of travel trailers, fifth wheels, Class A/B/C motorhomes, toy haulers, and camper vans.

Nice to have

• ASE, RVTI, manufacturer certification, or equivalent credentials.
• One to three years of experience in a similar position.
• Previous automotive or RV industry experience as an RV repair technician, technical support agent, service advisor, parts specialist, or warranty administrator.
