QA Manual Test Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote within Latin America

Monthly compensation: $2,500–$3,000 USD

Property management software and payments solutions for community associations, supporting accounting processes, operational workflows, AR/AP payments, resident engagement, and AI-enabled software workflows.

What you will do

• Create, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test plans for web applications.
• Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, negative, and integration testing across product features.
• Validate accounting, AR/AP payments, user permissions, and other multi-step workflows.
• Document defects with clear reproduction steps, evidence, and severity classification.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to clarify acceptance criteria and participate in test-readiness reviews.
• Communicate test progress, risks, defects, and release readiness, including production sign-off.

Requirements

• Hands-on manual QA experience with web applications.
• Strong test case and defect report writing skills.
• Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or similar QA platforms.
• Ability to reason about complex financial, multi-step, or data-driven workflows.
• Basic REST API testing experience using Postman or a similar tool.
• Ability to work independently in remote, fast-paced, project-driven teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS products in fintech, payments, or enterprise workflow systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD release rhythms and agile delivery cadences.
• Exposure to AI-assisted coding environments.
• Understanding of secure data handling in finance or compliance-related domains.
