Application Architect (AI)

Location: San Salvador, El Salvador; full-time on-site presence required

What you will do

• Review third-party code and technical materials using criticality- and risk-based judgment.
• Assess AI-assisted technical output, validate it against reference documentation, and correct inaccuracies.
• Use AI tools to support technical analysis and documentation while applying human verification where needed.
• Prepare technical documentation and executive-facing materials.
• Gather and refine requirements, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and align technical decisions.
• Document technical standards and create reusable assets for technical teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience, including 2 or more years in technical leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language and the ability to critically evaluate code written by others.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture, distributed systems, microservices, cloud services and providers, security, networking, software testing, and code quality.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for technical analysis, with strong validation and verification practices.
• Strong technical writing, requirements gathering, stakeholder coordination, Agile, and multitasking skills.
• Native Spanish and English proficiency at B2 level or higher; full-time on-site availability in San Salvador is required.
