Bilingual Expert, Japanese/English (GenAI)

What you will do

• Act as a technical communication bridge between the project team and Japanese clients.
• Translate client technical documentation.
• Clarify project requirements with the client.
• Create project documentation as part of project deliverables.
• Support a greenfield Generative AI platform for managing complex medical and industrial equipment knowledge.

Requirements

• Japanese: written and spoken proficiency equivalent to JLPT N1 or N2; official certification is not mandatory.
• English: written and spoken proficiency equivalent to B2 or higher.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration between Japan- and CEE-based teams.
• Ability to make decisions with limited information and guide delivery through uncertainty and complexity.
• Self-reliance and the ability to deliver agreed content.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience in IT project management, preferably within the software development life cycle.
• Understanding of software development methodologies and their impact on project deliverables.
• Experience with process and people management.
• Openness to working with Japanese culture.
