TL;DR
Logistics Operations Manager (Supply Chain): Managing onsite warehouse and 3PL operations, operational exceptions, KPI reporting, and process-improvement initiatives in a 1.2M+ sq. ft. distribution facility with an accent on inventory accuracy, service performance, and customer-focused execution. Focus on coordinating logistics stakeholders, analyzing operational data, driving corrective actions, and improving processes through PDCA, DMAIC, and A3 frameworks.

Location: Onsite at the customer site in Addison, Texas, USA; occasional off-shift/on-call coverage and 10–20% local travel may be required.

What you will do

  • Manage DFW operations exceptions, operational reporting, and site access ticket resolution.
  • Monitor KPIs including OTIF, dock-to-stock, inventory accuracy, ticket SLAs, cost savings, and process improvements.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations in a 1.2M+ sq. ft. facility and coordinate with 3PL partners, hubs, spokes, and transportation teams.
  • Define and manage business process and technology roadmaps while supporting change management and customer-focused execution.
  • Lead process-optimization and cost-saving projects, maintain SOPs, pilots, trackers, and consolidated activity views.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and present concise, data-driven status updates to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of supply chain or logistics experience; distribution center or 3PL experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience defining, developing, and documenting business processes and procedures.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and project-tool skills; Google Workspace experience is preferred.
  • Experience with PDCA or other continuous-improvement frameworks.
  • Strong customer service, relationship-building, communication, independent-working, and problem-solving skills.
