Senior Product Engineer

Location: United States; supporting Paragon TMS in Alpharetta, Georgia.

What you will do

• Investigate customer and product problems, identify root causes, and prevent recurrence.
• Design, build, test, release, and support reliable Paragon TMS software.
• Anticipate edge cases, failure modes, and regression risks throughout development.
• Create tests, test data, validation approaches, and acceptance criteria.
• Communicate risks, defects, test results, tradeoffs, and progress to technical and non-technical partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Several years of software, product, or quality engineering experience.
• Experience delivering production-quality solutions for complex technical problems.
• Strong quality-assurance mindset covering edge cases, regression risk, and solution validation.
• Experience with automated or manual testing, defect prevention, or release validation.

Nice to have

• Experience with transportation management, supply chain, enterprise, or SaaS products.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, APIs, SQL, Python, application performance, or observability.
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives.
