Adjunct Leadership, Public Policy & Sustainable Development Expert

Location: Hybrid in Rwanda and Mauritius

Engagement: Consultancy for 3–4 months, with an expected commitment of 15–25 hours per week. Start date: Immediate.

What you will do

• Review, refine, design, and validate the Entrepreneurial Leadership programme curriculum and related academic documentation.
• Assess alignment with accreditation requirements, quality assurance frameworks, sustainable development priorities, and global entrepreneurial leadership standards.
• Review programme learning outcomes, graduate attributes, course sequencing, assessments, competency frameworks, and experiential learning activities.
• Evhirify.globalate and strengthen content covering public policy, civic leadership, advocacy, planetary health, sustainability, social innovation, business strategy, and leadership development.
• Conduct curriculum gap analysis against industry requirements, emerging technology trends, future skills frameworks, and workforce needs.
• Collaborate with academic leaders, faculty learning designers, industry stakeholders, and programme staff through workshops, consultations, and validation sessions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Public Policy, Sustainable Development, Leadership Studies, Environmental Policy, Governance, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in academia, industry, or a combination of both within entrepreneurial leadership or related disciplines.
• Experience designing, reviewing, developing, or revising undergraduate programmes or curricula in entrepreneurship education, innovation ecosystems, business management, or related fields.
• Strong expertise in curriculum development, programme review, accreditation, academic quality assurance, learning outcomes, competency frameworks, and assessment strategies.
• Experience with curriculum mapping, experiential and project-based learning, undergraduate capstone projects, work-integrated learning, and online or blended learning environments.
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and time management skills.

Nice to have

• PhD or master’s degree in entrepreneurship, innovation management, technology management, artificial intelligence, business strategy, or a related field.
• Experience with curriculum transformation, accreditation reviews, or programme modernization initiatives in Rwanda or Mauritius.
• Experience working with governments, NGOs, international organizations, or policy institutions.
• Knowledge of African development challenges, international curriculum frameworks, and emerging-economy business networks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multicultural environments.
