Thought Leader Liaison, Iqirvo, Carolinas (Rare Disease): Building and maintaining strategic relationships with pediatric hepatology and gastroenterology thought leaders while supporting brand initiatives, advisory boards, speaker programs, and congresses with an accent on rare-disease engagement, compliant scientific exchange, and cross-functional coordination. Focus on mapping clinical influence, leading KOL meetings and conference strategy, synthesizing market insights, and developing institutional partnerships across the Carolinas.
Location: North Carolina, covering the Carolinas region

What you will do
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with national, regional, and local pediatric hepatology and gastroenterology thought leaders.
- Develop KOL segmentation, influence mapping, engagement plans, and advocacy networks across relevant disease states.
- Partner with Marketing on advisory boards, speaker programs, approved materials, market insights, and strategic narratives.
- Lead commercial participation in national and regional congresses, including KOL planning, podium coverage, and post-conference analysis.
- Plan and lead strategic KOL meetings, executive exchanges, institutional engagements, and global interactions.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with Medical, Global, Meetings/Conventions, Business Ethics, and other internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced scientific or business degree such as MBA, MS, PharmD, or PhD is strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of direct Thought Leader Liaison experience, or 6+ years of hepatology experience, or 8+ years of commercial pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical experience.
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements and rules of engagement for field-based roles.
- Experience with payer, clinical, and policy landscapes in specialty and rare diseases; hepatology or liver experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated performance against qualitative and quantitative goals, independent execution, and end-to-end project management.
