Accounting Manager, Growth Ventures (SaaS)

Location: New York, NY

Target total compensation: $172,500–$195,500 annually, including a fixed annual salary of $150,000–$170,000, equity, and bonus.

What you will do

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for a portfolio of emerging entities.
• Build entity-level reporting and reconciliations for consolidated close processes.
• Design and mature accounting processes, controls, and documentation as entities approach audit scope.
• Prepare external audit deliverables, including PBC materials and walkthrough support.
• Set up and optimize NetSuite, including billing data automation and recurring journal entries.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, recommend solutions, and support analyses for new ventures.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with subscription, SaaS, or platform business models.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA required.
• Working knowledge of ASC 606, deferred revenue, and multi-element arrangements.
• Experience with multiple entities; NetSuite or a comparable ERP is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with non-finance business leaders in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
