Focus on leading QA teams, reviewing automated test suites, coordinating distributed stakeholders, and ensuring reliable releases across complex SaaS, API, and microservice platforms.
Location: Hybrid in Rome, Italy, with on-site meetings when required. The role supports distributed teams across Italy, Poland, and the United Kingdom.
Salary: €52,000–€59,500 annually, plus a target annual performance-based bonus of 15% of salary.

What you will do
- Define and govern QA processes, methodologies, standards, testing strategies, and quality metrics across product streams.
- Lead QA activities, resources, priorities, capacity planning, and people management.
- Participate in Product Owner refinement sessions to ensure requirements are complete, testable, and aligned with business needs.
- Maintain test cases, automation standards, regression plans, and automated test suite quality.
- Monitor testing progress, resolve blockers, and coordinate issue resolution with Product, Development, DevOps, Operations, and third-party providers.
- Verify release readiness, provide QA sign-off, and ensure compliance with regulatory, certification, audit, and quality requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or quality engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience leading QA teams or QA workstreams, including people management.
- Experience defining automated testing strategies and quality improvement initiatives for complex, business-critical platforms in Agile environments.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test automation, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD, release management, defect management, and quality governance.
- Experience with SaaS platforms, APIs, distributed systems, and microservice architectures.
Nice to have
- ISTQB, Agile Testing, Scrum, SAFe, or equivalent certification.
- Experience in Gaming, Lottery, FinTech, or another regulated industry.
