DataOps Intern (AI/ML)

What you will do

• Operate cloud infrastructure, primarily GCP, and bare-metal systems hosting data, ML, and AI workloads.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for services and machine-learning models.
• Run and troubleshoot containerized workloads on Kubernetes.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, logging, reliability, and platform cost efficiency.
• Automate operational tasks with Python or Bash and investigate infrastructure and pipeline incidents.
• Support model training and inference environments, resources, deployments, and costs while meeting SAMA requirements.

Requirements

• Solid Linux fundamentals, including filesystems, processes, permissions, networking, and shell usage.
• Hands-on experience building or deploying on at least one cloud provider; GCP experience is most relevant.
• Understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, containers, Kubernetes deployment, and workload debugging.
• Working knowledge of monitoring and observability, including metrics, logs, and alerts.
• Python or Bash automation skills, Git experience, structured thinking, and attention to correctness.
• Saudi nationality is required; full-time-level engagement is expected. Current students and fresh graduates are welcome. English must be sufficient for documentation and team communication.

Nice to have

• Infrastructure as code experience with Terraform or similar tools.
• End-to-end CI/CD experience with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar systems.
• Practical Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent observability experience.
• Exposure to MLOps, GPU workloads, model serving, experiment tracking, or model registries.
• Experience running open-source models and understanding how LLMs work.
