Security Engineer - Cybersecurity IAM (Hybrid, Bucharest) (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Drive IAM lifecycle operations for the Falcon product platform and support emergency incident response.
• Design, implement, and maintain access-control solutions for a multi-cloud global platform.
• Ensure the performance, reliability, and usability of access systems across thousands of services and users.
• Manage identity and access risk and governance, including least-privilege design, threat modeling, verification, and audits.
• Develop scripting and automation for access operations and integrations.
• Advise product and engineering stakeholders on security alignment and improve the security posture through current IAM and cybersecurity practices.

Requirements

• Expertise with cloud IAM services such as AWS IAM, Azure Entra, GCP IAM, or OCI IAM.
• Experience deploying access provisioning and governance systems, including just-in-time access, self-service, zero trust, or service mesh solutions.
• Strong knowledge of SSO, federation, directory services, MFA, and authentication protocols including SAML, OIDC, and Kerberos.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience operating at scale, with strong knowledge of security fundamentals, threat modeling, risk management, and complex-scenario analysis.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience leading projects with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced product environment.
• Experience with cloud-scale Linux or other Unix-like environments.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code such as Terraform, SaltStack, or Ansible.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, compliance frameworks, or securing cloud-based applications and services.
