Senior Product Designer (Fintech)

Location: Riga, Latvia; hybrid flexibility with office and remote work options

Salary: €4,000–€4,500 per month

What you will do

• Own a product area spanning onboarding, investing, portfolio reporting, or connected investor workflows.
• Design consistent, platform-appropriate experiences across iOS, Android, and web.
• Frame ambiguous problems, prototype concepts, and validate solutions through interviews, usability testing, and competitor research.
• Use behavioural data and success metrics to evaluate launched work and guide future improvements.
• Deliver flows, wireframes, visual designs, prototypes, edge cases, and design-system-aligned documentation for engineering.
• Participate in critique and mentor other designers while helping raise design quality and rigour.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Design experience and a portfolio showing end-to-end problem solving.
• Experience owning a product area or initiative across multiple quarters.
• Strong UX and visual design skills with the ability to simplify complex, ambiguous problems.
• Evidence-based approach to selecting and explaining appropriate research methods.
• Collaborative working style, including early sharing of work, feedback, and designer development.
• Curiosity about personal finance, investing, or fintech; experience in regulated industries is valuable.

Nice to have

• Experience with compliance, legal, or risk teams.
• Experience designing multi-market or multi-language products.
• Information design and complex data visualisation experience.
• Design system contribution, A/B testing, or experimentation experience.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
