What you will do

• Design, build, maintain, and document scalable data models for analytics, BI, product, and data science use cases.
• Transform raw and intermediate data into curated datasets with consistent business logic, reusable semantic layers, metrics, and core entities.
• Build automated checks and testing standards covering data freshness, completeness, consistency, accuracy, schemas, business rules, and metrics.
• Create documentation that improves the discoverability and usability of datasets and data assets.
• Partner with Data Engineering, Analytics, Product, Data Science, and commercial stakeholders to define requirements, KPIs, and shared metrics.
• Support decision-making by aligning analytical datasets with business context and domain needs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an Analytics Engineering position.
• Proven ability to design and maintain scalable, well-documented data models for multiple use cases.
• Experience with dbt or Python for data manipulation and transformation, complex SQL, and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.
• Proficiency with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Git, CI/CD, FinOps principles, and ideally AWS cloud services.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience using Jira.
• Strong problem-solving, organisational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to business users.
