Senior Gameplay Animator (The Witcher 4)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; office-first with a minimum of 10 days per month in the Warsaw office. Remote work is available within Europe for select candidates.

Salary: 19,000–29,600 PLN gross monthly

What you will do

• Create and implement in-game animations for the player character and playable horse.
• Use Autodesk Maya, MotionBuilder, and Unreal Engine for animation production and implementation.
• Establish and maintain animation asset workflows, folder structures, naming conventions, and engine organization.
• Co-develop playable and non-playable animation systems, including motion matching, blendspaces, animation graphs, and procedural animation setups.
• Configure animation notifications, synchronization events, and other engine-specific auxiliary data.
• Collaborate with gameplay designers, programmers, and technical animators.

Requirements

• Strong experience with motion-capture data and key-frame animation.
• Technical and artistic animation skills with strong gameplay design understanding.
• Strong knowledge of animal locomotion biomechanics, especially horse movement.
• Proven experience animating animals or creatures.
• Game production experience with at least one released title.
• Fluent English required.
