Working Student, Professional Services (GIS)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid role requiring approximately two days per week in the Berlin office

Salary: €18 gross per hour

What you will do

• Support Solutions Architects with customer discovery, solution design, pilot delivery, and customer adoption.
• Participate in customer workshops by gathering requirements, documenting outcomes, coordinating follow-up actions, and supporting Agile delivery.
• Provide technical communication support for Russian-speaking customers during workshops, pilots, and ongoing engagements.
• Prepare customer datasets, subscriptions, collections, and hirify.global platform resources for demonstrations and pilot projects.
• Support solution validation, testing, troubleshooting, onboarding, technical training, and customer demonstrations.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities and regional onsite engagements.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled full-time at an accredited university in GIS, Computer Science, Remote Sensing, Geography, or a related field.
• Familiarity with GIS software such as QGIS, ArcGIS, GDAL, ENVI, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience supporting customer workshops, gathering requirements, and working directly with end users.
• Experience using AI tools for productivity, coding, and rapid prototyping.
• Fluent written and spoken Russian and English required.

Nice to have

• Background in remote sensing, geoscience, or geoinformatics.
• Practical Python experience for geospatial applications, data processing, or automation.
• Experience with geospatial solution design, solution architecture, Agile delivery, machine learning, modern cloud technologies, CI/CD, or geospatial web applications.
• Familiarity with hirify.global products or Earth observation technologies.
