AI-Native Software Engineer

What you will do

• Use coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and Copilot across design, implementation, testing, debugging, refactoring, documentation, and code review.
• Build shared agent configurations, skills, context files, MCP integrations, prompt templates, and security guardrails.
• Develop agentic systems with tool calling, state, multi-step workflows, error recovery, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Own AI code-review and test-coverage pipelines, improving them using production escape data.
• Threat-model AI-assisted development and defend CI workflows against prompt injection, jailbreaks, tool-call abuse, data poisoning, secret leakage, and unsafe dependencies.
• Measure impact, drive organization-wide adoption, teach engineering teams, and establish AI-native development as a company standard.

Requirements

• Daily production experience using coding agents, with ownership of the resulting software.
• At least one end-to-end project built with coding agents from an empty repository to production.
• Experience creating a shared standard, rule set, agent, review pipeline, or playbook adopted by other engineers.
• Ability to measure outcomes such as accepted-code rate, rework, vulnerability escape rate, review precision, or time saved.
• Experience with tool and function calling, multi-step workflows, state, error recovery, human-in-the-loop systems, and AI security risks.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including clean code, testing, error handling, performance, and the ability to teach others.

Nice to have

• Two or more years designing highly scalable and highly available systems, primarily in Go.
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, agent SDKs, Strands Agents, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
• Knowledge of RAG, MCP, agents, skills, hooks, plugins, SAST, dependency remediation, ADRs, and architectural fitness checks.
