Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Auth0)

Location: Remote from Spain, with the role based in Barcelona. On-call shifts occur during standard local working hours.

Salary: €64,000–€88,000 EUR annually for candidates located in Spain.

What you will do

• Design and build custom Go software that improves platform reliability, resiliency, and redundancy.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve service availability, performance, and observability.
• Identify infrastructure and observability improvements and implement platform-level solutions.
• Participate in a follow-the-sun on-call rotation, troubleshooting and mitigating critical production incidents.
• Develop SRE tooling and automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Define, document, and promote reliability best practices across the organization.

Requirements

• Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical production applications with significant autonomy.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language and ability to build custom applications; Go is preferred.
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and ArgoCD.
• Expertise with at least one major cloud provider: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Knowledge of microservices, SQL and NoSQL databases, networking, and core SRE principles including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Experience participating in on-call rotations for a 24/7 cloud-based environment and collaborating in a remote, distributed team.
