Senior Network Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Athens, Attica, Greece; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Manage the lifecycle, design, architecture, and support of routing, switching, security solutions, and VPNs across LAN/WAN environments.
• Develop network strategy, architectural designs, and infrastructure enhancements.
• Provide technical leadership across WAN and LAN technologies, including remote access, routing protocols, QoS, VLANs, spanning tree, VoIP, and wireless networks.
• Maintain network security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Collaborate with vendors, clients, and IT personnel to resolve technical issues and deliver enterprise-class solutions.
• Ensure network activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal anti-bribery and corruption policies.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of network engineering experience.
• University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Certification in one or more of Cisco CCNP/CCDP or Check Point CCSA/CCSE.
• Expertise in WAN and LAN technologies, including EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, driving projects to completion, and taking accountability for results.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; excellent English required.
