IT E&S Insurance Product Delivery Summer Internship (Charlotte, NC or Hartford, CT) (Hybrid)

Location: Hybrid; applicants must be within commuting distance of Charlotte, North Carolina or Hartford, Connecticut

Salary: $25.00–$28.00 per hour

What you will do

• Develop, test, and maintain software solutions supporting underwriting.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using various technologies.
• Create and execute unit tests to maintain code quality and reliability.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues under senior engineer guidance.
• Participate in code reviews and software design and architecture discussions.
• Collaborate with peers and leaders on an Action Learning Project and business process improvements.

Requirements

• Current college student majoring in Computer Science or a related field.
• Rising junior or senior preferred; full-time undergraduate status is ideal.
• High school diploma required.
• Ability to take ownership, self-motivate, and complete delegated tasks at a professional level.
• Interest in learning about the insurance industry.
• Ability to commute to the Charlotte or Hartford location for the hybrid schedule.
