Innovation Project Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Marignane, France, in the Marseille area; onsite work at the helicopter manufacturing site

What you will do

• Manage an integrated team of 3–5 specialists working on rotorcraft general studies.
• Lead aerodynamic, handling qualities, loads, vibration, and dynamics activities for research and technology helicopter demonstrators.
• Organize and analyze wind tunnel, vibration, dynamics, ground, and flight-test campaigns.
• Coordinate university and test-center partnerships and ensure technical convergence across engineering disciplines.
• Analyze flight-test data with the Flight Test department and manage related airworthiness activities.
• Manage development stages from low-level technology-readiness demonstrators to TRL6 while adapting methodologies to project objectives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience designing complex aeronautical products.
• At least 5 years of experience developing aerospace products.
• Experience as a group leader supervising design-office engineers.
• Master’s degree in engineering, specialized in aeronautical domains.
• Expertise in Catia V5 and VPM-type PLM tools, plus knowledge of key aeronautical technical rules.
• Professional English proficiency and awareness of safety, compliance, and airworthiness constraints are required.
