Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Early Talent (AI Cloud)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands. Duration: 3–6 months. Start date: January 2027. Applicants must be authorized to work in the Netherlands and provide proof of work eligibility.

Nebius builds a full-stack AI cloud platform covering data and model training through production deployment, with infrastructure spanning compute, storage, networking, and applied AI.

What you will do

• Assist with day-to-day site reliability engineering operations.
• Execute tasks from the SRE backlog and work on small, well-defined infrastructure projects.
• Create tests for changes and projects where applicable.
• Write technical documentation and track progress in Jira.
• Learn internal tools, operational workflows, and platform standards.

Requirements

• Current university student in Computer Science or a related field, recent graduate, or early-career specialist.
• Strong interest in and foundational knowledge of cloud providers, operations, networking, hardware, and software.
• Programming experience in Python, Go, C++, or Java.
• Basic understanding of Ethernet, IP, TCP/UDP, and routing fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Git and basic understanding of containers, Kubernetes, and GitOps.
• Willingness to study Linux fundamentals, including networking, cgroups, and eBPF, as well as configuration management and automation.
