2027 Undergraduate Validation Engineering Internships – Mexico (SSD)

Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico; work location is in Mexico and depends on business needs and internship assignment.

What you will do

• Support validation and testing of SSD hardware, components, and electrical interfaces.
• Execute test plans, collect data, and troubleshoot electrical and functional issues.
• Assist with hardware and system-level debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Use laboratory equipment and test environments to reproduce issues.
• Work in Linux-based environments and collaborate with hardware, firmware, and validation engineering teams.
• Document test methods, results, and debug findings.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Must return to school after the internship.
• Foundational knowledge of electronics, circuits, or hardware systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with Linux-based environments.
• This role is not eligible for candidates requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, or other laboratory test instrumentation.
• Familiarity with SSDs, storage systems, or data center hardware.
• Coursework or project experience in circuit analysis, signal testing, or hardware validation.
• Exposure to scripting or automation for data collection or testing.
