Associate Scientist - Cell Based Assays

Location: Onsite in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, Ireland

Salary: EUR 35,000–45,000 per year

What you will do

• Perform routine and non-routine quality control analyses of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products.
• Complete test records accurately and on time in accordance with SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Follow GMP guidelines and internal quality standards while maintaining complete, traceable documentation.
• Identify quality and service improvements and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Participate in root cause analysis, prepare exception reports, and maintain training records.
• Provide training in validated techniques, cover for colleagues, and participate in weekend, overtime, and on-call schedules.

Requirements

• Degree in molecular cell biology or a related scientific discipline.
• At least two years of experience with cell-based potency assays in a GMP environment.
• Good understanding of GMP and strong documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and quality consciousness.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent communication skills.
• Proactive, flexible, professional, customer-focused, and willing to learn.
