TL;DR
General Manager – Fiber Program (Telecommunications Infrastructure): Leading Gilat’s Indonesia distributed-network fiber business, including country strategy, P&L accountability, partner governance, and scalable deployment of outside-plant and network equipment with an accent on contractual performance, compliance, and financial sustainability. Focus on coordinating multi-party operations, managing deployment and supply-chain risks, and scaling capacity across regions and customer requirements.
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia; mostly hybrid with remote work and customer site work

Networks develops satellite communications and connectivity solutions, including digital-divide infrastructure, in-flight connectivity, and SATCOM systems.
What you will do
- Lead country strategy, business planning, budgeting, and P&L accountability for the Indonesia fiber portfolio.
- Govern agreements and clarify responsibility matrices with partners.
- Prepare people, processes, systems, suppliers, and operations for market entry and deployment.
- Build executive relationships with customers, authorities, contractors, and strategic suppliers.
- Chair performance and risk reviews across deployment, network operations, supply chain, quality, and compliance.
- Scale the organization according to demand, regional coverage, and contractual obligations while driving corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in telecommunications, infrastructure, utilities, or large-scale contracting.
- At least 5 years of country, general, or senior business leadership experience.
- Experience managing multi-party contracts and distributed operations.
- Availability for travel and field work.
- Professional English and native Bahasa Indonesia are required.
Nice to have
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
- Experience with P&L, cash flow, governance, contracting, and enterprise risk management.
- Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure, outside-plant operating models, and the Indonesian regulatory, labor, business, and stakeholder environment.
