Lead Management Accountant

What you will do

• Prepare and review month-end and year-end journal entries, reconciliations, balances, statutory accounts, and management reporting packs.
• Complete period-end close activities and maintain strong balance sheet control.
• Support internal and external audits, including schedules, responses, and remediation of control gaps.
• Analyse financial data, explain variances, and support budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Simplify, standardise, and automate accounting processes and contribute to finance transformation or system implementation projects.
• Review junior team members' work and provide guidance, coaching, and technical support.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant finance or accounting experience is desirable.
• Degree or third-level qualification in business or a related discipline.
• Completion of a professional accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience in a similar role with knowledge of financial reporting, controls, audit support, and period-end close.

• Experience with SAP.
