Location: Based in Tokyo, Japan; remote work is supported

What you will do
- Partner with Sales and cross-functional teams to qualify, scope, and shape customer opportunities.
- Define technical engagement plans and lead discovery across finance, pharma, automotive, healthcare, logistics, and other domains.
- Create customized demonstrations that help customers evaluate and adopt the quantum software platform.
- Explain complex quantum computing concepts to technical audiences in one-to-one and group settings.
- Identify new technical opportunities, relay customer feedback to influence product direction, and maintain reusable implementation assets and proof-of-concept templates.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, strategic technical position, or comparable cross-functional role.
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with quantum information, quantum software engineering, or quantum algorithms.
- Strong technical support, troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills.
- Full proficiency in English is required.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
Nice to have
- Japanese language skills.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
