Senior Esports Events Production Manager

Location: On-site in Berlin, Germany; significant travel and live-event work required.

What you will do

• Lead planning and operational delivery for major regional and international esports events across EMEA, including flagship finals and cross-regional tournaments.
• Own physical production design and execution across venues, integrating scenic, lighting, AV, staging, LED or projection, power, rigging, and broadcast workflows.
• Coordinate hospitality frameworks and travel schedules for players, talent, and VIPs while maintaining welfare, accessibility, and inclusivity standards.
• Own event production budgets, forecast costs, manage capital investment decisions, and negotiate with vendors and partners.
• Oversee senior vendor relationships, contracts, logistics, documentation, and quality standards across multi-party productions.
• Improve production frameworks, workflows, templates, and tools while mentoring Production Managers and acting as an escalation point for live-event decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in live broadcast or large-scale event production, ideally in sports, esports, or gaming conventions.
• Experience leading complex productions involving multiple stakeholders, vendors, geographies, and formats.
• Strong understanding of live broadcast infrastructure, signal paths, and production technologies.
• Strong vendor management, contracting, budgeting, financial, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and diplomacy skills, especially under pressure, with the ability to lead through influence.
• Fluent English is required; the role is based on-site in Berlin and involves significant travel.

Nice to have

• Experience with global or cross-regional productions and multiple esports titles or ecosystems.
• Knowledge of remote, cloud, or hybrid broadcast solutions.
• Experience driving operational innovation, standardization, and scalable production workflows.
• Additional EMEA language skills.
