TL;DR
Project QA QC Manager (Offshore EPC): Leading quality assurance and quality control across engineering, procurement, fabrication, E&I works, offshore installation, commissioning, and handover with an accent on project quality governance, client interfaces, inspections, and compliance. Focus on managing NCRs and audits, coordinating marine and vendor quality, resolving quality issues, and ensuring complete handover documentation on a major offshore EPC project.
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers, Nigeria. Expat position with a 10-3 rotation and offshore project duties.

What you will do
- Lead QA/QC activities across engineering, procurement, fabrication, E&I works, offshore installation, hook-up, commissioning, start-up support, and handover.
- Develop and maintain project quality plans, control plans, procedures, inspection strategies, audit programmes, and quality reporting systems.
- Act as the primary QA/QC interface with the client, consortium partner, subcontractors, vendors, marine contractors, inspectors, and certifying authorities.
- Oversee yard, vendor, marine spread, offshore, welding, NDT, coating, material traceability, and E&I quality activities.
- Manage NCRs, deviations, concessions, site queries, audits, punch lists, corrective actions, and quality registers.
- Ensure mechanical completion, system handover, final acceptance, and quality dossier documentation are complete and timely.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas, offshore, EPC/EPCC, or major construction projects.
- Previous experience as a QA/QC Manager, QA/QC Lead, Senior QC Engineer, or equivalent on an offshore or EPC project.
- Experience with fabrication yards, E&I works, offshore installation, hook-up, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover.
- Knowledge of project quality plans, ITPs, audits, welding/NDT, vendor surveillance, material traceability, NCRs, change control, and mechanical completion.
- Good command of written and spoken English is required. Strong leadership, stakeholder-management, communication, and problem-solving skills are expected.
Nice to have
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent quality certification.
- Experience with offshore marine spread documentation, lifting equipment certification, and transportation quality requirements.
