Executive Director, Head of HR M&A

What you will do

• Own the global HR M&A portfolio, including strategy, governance, resources, risks, budgets, timelines, and escalations.
• Lead HR workstreams for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, restructurings, integrations, and separations.
• Manage the HR agenda from early-stage exploration and due diligence through transaction close and post-close stabilization.
• Coordinate cross-functional work across Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, HR Services, Digital HR, HR systems, payroll, benefits, talent, and employee communications.
• Advise senior stakeholders on people risks, workforce implications, organizational design, employee experience, negotiations, TSAs, and value creation.
• Lead and develop the HR M&A team while partnering with Corporate M&A, Finance, Legal, IT, business leadership, external advisors, and HR.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive HR experience with significant depth in HR M&A.
• Experience leading HR workstreams across complex acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, separations, restructurings, or other strategic transactions.
• Broad expertise in HR M&A, Total Rewards, HR Operations, HR systems, workforce transitions, and cross-functional programme delivery.
• Strong understanding of due diligence, transaction planning, integration and separation, TSAs, people-related risk management, and post-close stabilization.
• Ability to lead multiple international transactions and manage cross-functional project teams and external advisors.
• Exceptional business and financial acumen, executive presence, communication, negotiation, influencing, analytical, and project management skills.
