TL;DR
Platform Engineer, DevOps (AI) (AWS/Kubernetes/Terraform): Owning the architecture, operation, and continuous improvement of scalable cloud platforms and AI infrastructure with an accent on Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, GitOps, networking, observability, and security. Focus on designing fault-tolerant AWS environments, automating deployments, managing AI service access and costs, and leading resolution of complex platform incidents.

What you will do
- Own the architecture, roadmap, infrastructure decisions, and engineering standards for the cloud platform.
- Design and operate scalable, secure, highly available AWS infrastructure using EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC.
- Manage Terraform configurations, Kubernetes/EKS clusters, containerized workloads, and ArgoCD-based GitOps deployments.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, observability, monitoring, logging, alerting, and core network infrastructure.
- Provision and operate infrastructure for AI-powered products, including managed AI services, secrets management, access controls, audit logging, and cost monitoring.
- Lead platform incident response, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, and improve security, compliance, performance, and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- 10+ years of DevOps or platform engineering experience, including 5+ years designing, building, and operating Kubernetes environments.
- Hands-on AWS cloud infrastructure experience with EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC.
- Practical experience with ArgoCD, GitOps workflows, Terraform, Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, and deployment automation.
- Strong knowledge of networking, including VPC design, routing, DNS, load balancing, network security, IAM, and cloud security practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
- Strong English communication skills and availability for hybrid work in Hong Kong.
Nice to have
- Experience running AI or LLM workloads in production, including AWS Bedrock, API and secret management, and cost monitoring.
- Experience with Azure and GCP.
