What you will do
- Write and maintain end-to-end automated tests for critical product flows.
- Build and expand UI automation coverage with Playwright.
- Test real user journeys, identify high-impact scenarios, and prioritize automation coverage.
- Investigate failed and flaky tests, distinguishing product issues from test problems.
- Run automated tests within development and release processes.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define coverage, identify bugs, and improve QA automation practices.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience writing E2E tests and strong experience with UI test automation.
- Experience with Playwright or a similar browser automation framework.
- Understanding of web applications, browsers, DOM elements, selectors, and user interactions.
- Ability to write maintainable tests and debug failed or flaky tests.
- Basic programming knowledge in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience using Claude, AI coding assistants, or similar tools for testing and debugging.
Nice to have
- Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- API testing experience and familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Experience testing SaaS or complex web applications.
- Knowledge of test architecture, fixtures, test data, and reusable automation components.
