Product Designer (Fintech)

Location: Riga, Latvia; hybrid flexibility with office collaboration, remote work, and the option to work from another country for up to three months per year.

Salary: €3,100–€3,600 per month, plus stock options.

What you will do

• Design product experiences across onboarding, investing, portfolio reporting, and related workflows for web and mobile.
• Own features from discovery through launch in collaboration with Product Managers, Engineers, analysts, and Marketing.
• Frame problems, prototype concepts, and validate solutions through user interviews, usability testing, and competitor research.
• Use behavioural data and success metrics to evaluate launched work and guide future improvements.
• Deliver flows, wireframes, UI designs, prototypes, edge-case handling, and design-system-aligned documentation.
• Participate in design critique and contribute to raising the quality and rigour of the design practice.

Requirements

• Professional Product Design experience with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end problem solving.
• Experience owning features from discovery through launch.
• Strong UX and visual design skills, with the ability to simplify complex problems.
• Evidence-based approach to selecting and explaining research methods.
• Collaborative working style with openness to early feedback and cross-functional partnership.
• Genuine interest in personal finance, investing, or fintech.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, banking, or another regulated industry.
• Experience working with Compliance, Legal, or Risk teams.
• Experience designing multi-market or multi-language products.
• Information design, design-system contribution, A/B testing, or experimentation experience.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
