Finance Data & Reporting Governance Specialist

Location: Fuschl, Austria

Minimum salary: €2,509 gross per month; market-oriented compensation may be higher.

What you will do

• Validate financial data to ensure consistency, integrity, completeness, accuracy, and timeliness during month-end closing.
• Test, activate, sign off, and deploy new financial reporting developments and rollouts.
• Govern, train, and support Finance Reporting processes and solutions.
• Analyze and improve reporting processes in collaboration with process development and IT teams.
• Coordinate Finance Reporting solution enhancements and deploy reporting solutions to the Finance community.
• Support the design phase of projects as an in-house subject matter expert and manage delivery risks and impacts.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Finance or Data and Process Governance.
• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or STEM.
• Experience with analytical tools and methodologies for processing and interpreting large datasets.
• Familiarity with data modelling, data preparation, and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness to travel 0–10%.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP ERP, SAP BW, EPM systems, and reporting solutions such as SAP BEx Web, Crystal Reports, Analytics Cloud, BO Analysis, or Smart View.
• Experience with advanced analytics tools such as Python or R.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Snowflake and query languages such as SQL.
