Embedded Software Engineer (Home Smart)

Location: Malmö, Sweden; presence with the team and working most of the time in the workplace is required.

What you will do

• Collaborate with cloud and mobile teams to deliver seamless smart home experiences.
• Develop and integrate features for the Linux-based Home Smart gateway.
• Troubleshoot connectivity across Matter, Thread, Wi-Fi, and cloud services.
• Analyze logs and protocol traces to resolve interoperability problems.
• Automate tests and improve platform reliability and performance.

Requirements

• Broad software engineering experience across architecture, design, requirements, coding, and testing.
• Experience with Embedded Linux, C++, networking, and IoT.
• Flexible, structured teamwork and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Full-time availability for the Malmö workplace.

Nice to have

• Experience working with systems across different industries.
• Knowledge of Yocto, ZigBee, Matter, Wi-Fi, IPv6, cybersecurity, hardware bring-up, or OTA.
