What you will do
- Own and continuously improve wafer-level test processes for stable, repeatable, and efficient production.
- Set up, qualify, and operate automated wafer probers, optical alignment systems, and ATE for electrical and photonic testing.
- Develop and qualify test flows, conditions, process parameters, operating procedures, and process-control plans.
- Monitor production performance, yield, defects, cycle time, throughput, and process variation.
- Analyze test data, identify systematic failures and root causes, and lead corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with product engineering, quality, supply chain, industrial engineering, program management, and external manufacturing partners during qualification and production ramp.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, microelectronics, physics, optical engineering, semiconductor engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor wafer-level testing, wafer sort, test process engineering, manufacturing operations, parametric testing, OSAT, high-tech manufacturing, or silicon photonics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including test-data analysis, yield modeling, statistical process control, and root-cause analysis.
- Experience with data-analysis tools such as JMP, Spotfire, Python, or R.
- Strong understanding of wafer-level test processes, test-flow development, process control, yield management, and production-test methodologies.
- Strong cross-functional communication and project-management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in photonics, silicon photonics, optical devices, or advanced semiconductor packaging.
