Senior IT Security Engineer

What you will do

• Operate and improve the Microsoft security stack, including Defender XDR, Sentinel, Intune, Entra ID, and Purview, together with Jamf.
• Secure enterprise endpoints and identities across the organization.
• Design and enforce Conditional Access and Zero Trust policies at enterprise scale.
• Document and classify resolved security incidents as playbooks with clear paths toward automation.
• Build preventive security controls and automation for the IT Security Operations team.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with the Microsoft security stack: Defender XDR, Sentinel, Intune, Entra ID, and Purview.
• Practical PowerShell and Graph API scripting for identity governance, compliance reporting, and security automation.
• Working knowledge of KQL for detection engineering and Secure Score reporting.
• Ability to work independently as a technical specialist in a small, high-ownership team.
• Comfort using AI tools in daily work and developing broader organizational AI strategies.
• Fluent written and spoken English; candidates must be based in Finland and hold a valid Finnish work permit.

Nice to have

• Experience with Endpoint Privilege Management, such as BeyondTrust EPM or an equivalent platform.
• Working knowledge of SOC 2 and ISO 27001 control mapping.
• Experience working with international teams, along with strong communication and organizational skills.
