Analyst-Procurement

Location: On-site five days per week in Samut Prakan, Thailand. Business travel required for approximately 10–30% of the role.

What you will do

• Establish, develop, and deploy supply strategies for assigned direct-material categories at the Bangkok plant.
• Lead strategic sourcing and supply-base development, including supplier identification, evaluation, selection, performance management, and right-sizing.
• Conduct contractual development and negotiations for high-cost-of-goods programs while maintaining effective supplier relationships.
• Lead cost-reduction programs, source changes, value analysis and value engineering initiatives, and supplier process or relocation changes.
• Manage direct-material reporting and procurement data through tools such as MySpend, My Productivity, My Suppliers, PSL, SRM, and CLM.
• Secure supply continuity, improve year-over-year direct-material productivity and cash flow, and support new-product-development supplier selection.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain, operations, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of procurement experience, including category leadership and management of approximately $50 million or more in direct-material spend.
• Experience managing strategic supplier relationships, supplier selection and approval, contingency planning, cost management, and program management.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, influence, planning, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent Mandarin and English communication skills are required, including presentation skills.
• Relevant industry experience in HVAC&R or automotive is valuable; CPM, CPSM, CIPS, PMP, or Lean/Six Sigma credentials are advantageous.
