Lead Software Engineer, Backend (Go)

What you will do

• Develop frameworks, libraries, and primitives in Go for backend product engineers.
• Identify and implement AI-driven tools that reduce engineering workload and improve productivity.
• Lead technical projects and contribute to architecture decisions and technical roadmaps.
• Build and operate backend microservices using modern infrastructure and observability tools.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing and engineering excellence.
• Maintain high code quality through rigorous code reviews and constructive feedback.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience with a record of delivering solutions across teams.
• Strong proficiency in Go, including idiomatic, testable, and maintainable code.
• Hands-on experience developing and operating backend microservices.
• Knowledge of HTTP/gRPC, MySQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Istio, DataDog, Kibana, and Grafana.
• Working knowledge of Git, GitLab, version control, and CI/CD practices.
