Location: Broughton, North Wales, United Kingdom; hybrid working options may be available depending on the role.
Salary: £24,246 per year

What you will do
- Support site services with budget management and forecasting.
- Participate in capital investment planning and facilities projects.
- Work with engineers to identify redundant services and systems at the Broughton manufacturing facility.
- Develop removal strategies, identify risks, and record them in the risk management tool.
- Develop asset strategies for facilities service deliverables, initially focusing on external pump stations and ventilation systems.
- Help ensure clear project specifications, regulatory compliance, equipment reliability, and controlled maintenance costs.
Requirements
- Undergraduate status must be maintained for the full 12.5-month placement.
- Studying toward a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to listen, understand, and communicate information effectively.
- Interest in creative solutions to complex problems and evidence-based decision-making.
- Basic project management skills and willingness to learn tools and processes.
- Stakeholder management, customer focus, attention to detail, flexibility, and interest in investment planning and operational budgets.
