2027 Graduate Firmware Engineering & Validation Internships (Firmware)

Location: Gdańsk, Poland. The internship is based on business needs and assignment.

Compensation: up to PLN 7,800 per month

What you will do

• Contribute to firmware features, development tools, test environments, and debug workflows for SSD and storage technologies.
• Support firmware and system-level validation by executing test plans, analyzing failures, reproducing issues, and assisting with root-cause analysis.
• Develop and improve test scripts, tools, and automation frameworks to increase validation efficiency, coverage, and reporting quality.
• Analyze test results, logs, and product behavior to identify trends, defects, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with firmware, validation, hardware, and architecture teams.
• Document tools, test methods, debugging findings, and project deliverables.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with one or more of Python, C, or C++.
• Familiarity with Linux-based development or test environments.
• Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a technical team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with firmware development, embedded software, device drivers, or low-level systems programming.
• Familiarity with SSDs, NAND flash, NVMe, PCIe, or storage systems.
• Experience with software validation, test automation, debug tools, regression frameworks, or test-plan development.
• Experience with Python or shell-based automation and test frameworks.
• Familiarity with performance analysis, log analysis, or telemetry.
