Kubernetes Administrator

Location: Hybrid in Prague, Brno, or Pardubice, Czech Republic

What you will do

• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters across production, testing, and development environments.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, security, monitoring, and backup of Kubernetes environments.
• Diagnose and resolve performance and security issues, and plan and implement upgrades and patches.
• Manage network infrastructure, including network policies, VPNs, load balancers, TCP/IP, and DNS.
• Automate Kubernetes and virtual-environment operations using infrastructure automation and scripting.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams, manage VMware environments, document infrastructure, and coordinate less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes; VMware Tanzu is an advantage.
• Operational experience with virtualization technologies, with VMware vSphere as an advantage.
• Strong understanding of networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and network policies.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, monitoring and logging tools, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and scripting.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems and collaborate effectively in a team.
• Czech proficiency is required; English at B2 level is required.
