TL;DR
Senior Sneaker Designer (Freelance) (Footwear Design): Designing and developing seasonal sneaker collections from concept and brief through sampling and final product with an accent on sneaker construction, materials, proportions, and colourways. Focus on producing technical packs and drawings, solving fit and construction issues with suppliers and factories, and managing multiple development projects.
Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid freelance role with remote work and attendance at the Barcelona headquarters when needed for key meetings, presentations, and development milestones

What you will do
- Lead sneaker design from initial brief through final product, defining proportions, construction, materials, and colourways.
- Drive development and sampling with Product Development, suppliers, and factories.
- Resolve fit and construction issues throughout the development process.
- Produce tech packs and technical drawings for product development and suppliers.
- Research sneaker culture, materials, and trends and translate them into the aesthetic.
- Manage multiple projects independently across Design, Product Development, Merchandising, and Sourcing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sneaker or footwear design, supported by a portfolio showing creative and technical range.
- Experience taking original designs through full development and sampling.
- Deep knowledge of sneaker construction, materials, lasts, and manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and technical sketching.
- Strong fashion sensibility, proactive mindset, and clear communication skills.
- Fluent English required; Spanish is a plus.

- Experience with 3D and AI tools.
- Spanish language skills.
