TL;DR
AI Engineer (Entry-Level Position) (Python/SQL, GCP/Azure): Building and operating AI and data analytics products across Latin America with an accent on machine learning pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and scalable data platforms. Focus on deploying models, implementing DevOps and CI/CD practices, troubleshooting multi-cloud infrastructure, and developing real-time incident detection systems.
Location: Hybrid schedule in Panama; relocation support to Panama is available.

What you will do
- Develop and operate AI, data, and analytics products using Python, SQL, and machine learning pipelines.
- Prepare data models, implement quality checks, and optimize analytical solutions at scale.
- Support multi-cloud AI infrastructure across GCP and Azure, including data, ML, and container platforms.
- Apply DevOps, Agile, CI/CD, testing, source control, monitoring, and reusable design patterns.
- Deploy machine learning models into IT solutions and business processes.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, build proof-of-concept solutions, improve architecture, and coach colleagues on DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience with Python, SQL, data modelling, and the design, development, and deployment of data and analytics products.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule in the Panama-based office.
- Experience with Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, Jira, GitHub Actions, testing, mocking, static code analysis, and source control.
- Knowledge of GCP or Azure infrastructure, including load balancing, autoscaling, firewalls, and authentication.
- Experience with AI/ML products, model pipelines, deployment processes, logging, monitoring, and strong written and verbal English communication.
