Organic Marketing Manager (SEO/AEO)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY; employees are expected to work in the office five days a week.

Salary: $170,000–$190,000 annually, plus potential bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Build and own the organic growth strategy, including the SEO/AEO roadmap, keyword and topic strategy, and editorial calendar.
• Research, write, publish, and optimize content for blogs, website pages, in-app copy, and guides.
• Drive technical and on-page SEO in partnership with engineering, including site architecture, structured data, schema markup, crawlability, and Core Web Vitals.
• Use Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs or SEMrush, and related tools to track rankings, traffic, and answer-engine citations.
• Translate briefs, product requirements, and insights into clear, on-brand copy while maintaining brand voice.
• Analyze performance and improve engagement, acquisition, and conversion across channels.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience managing B2C content marketing.
• Proven writing and editing experience across multiple formats.
• Hands-on experience with SEO and analytics tools, including Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or Screaming Frog.
• Demonstrated measurable organic growth through traffic, rankings, or share-of-voice gains.
• Familiarity with AEO/GEO practices, structured data, and optimization for AI-generated answers.
• Strong strategic thinking, hands-on execution, analytical ability, attention to detail, and brand-voice management.
