Senior Site Reliability Engineer I (Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Partner with engineering teams to architect scalable and reliable products using shared infrastructure platforms.
• Debug reliability and scalability issues across application and infrastructure stack layers.
• Build infrastructure as code with Chef, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Develop deployment pipelines and centralized tooling, services, and automation frameworks using Docker, Kubernetes, and multiple programming languages.
• Participate in PagerDuty on-call rotations, respond to availability incidents, and turn retrospectives into system improvements.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, capacity management, and operational reliability to support enterprise-grade SLAs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Software, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineer.
• Strong understanding of systems, interfaces, boundaries, edge cases, failure modes, and distributed behavior.
• Practical knowledge of Linux and Unix Shell.
• Strong programming skills; Ruby and/or Go are preferred.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar infrastructure-as-code technologies.
• Experience with MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, Postgres, or similar data technologies.
