AI Software Engineer

Location: Czech Republic; fully remote role

Zone & Co provides an ERP-native AI platform for financial operations within Oracle NetSuite, supporting more than 4,500 customers across the financial lifecycle.

What you will do

• Design, prototype, implement, and deploy AI systems for real-world business applications.
• Build end-to-end AI/ML pipelines and integrate models into backend and frontend products.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to deliver scalable AI solutions.
• Monitor and optimize deployed models for performance, scalability, reliability, data quality, privacy, and ethical use.
• Evaluate AI frameworks and technologies, lead experimentation, and contribute to cloud and infrastructure decisions.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and communicate technical outcomes to technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of software engineering experience focused on AI/ML applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, agents, and frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, or DSPy.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with JavaScript or similar languages; knowledge of statically typed languages is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases, plus experience deploying AI systems in production.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with containerization.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
