TL;DR
Staff Engineer - Web Platform (React/Next.js): Owns and evolves Fin's web platform and marketing growth systems with an accent on scalable architecture, performance, observability, experimentation, and developer productivity. Focus on designing MarTech infrastructure, event tracking and attribution systems, mentoring engineers, and leading technical strategy across web, marketing, analytics, design, and data science.
Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office

What you will do
- Own and evolve the architecture of the web platform powering Fin's marketing and growth surfaces.
- Define and execute long-term technical strategy focused on scalability, performance, observability, developer productivity, and reliability.
- Lead the design and implementation of MarTech systems for event tracking, attribution, funnel reporting, and A/B testing.
- Partner with marketing, analytics, design, data science, web, infrastructure, and data engineering teams.
- Mentor engineers and raise standards for architecture, data modeling, code quality, maintainability, and operational readiness.
- Contribute hands-on to the codebase and communicate technical risks, trade-offs, and opportunities to engineering and product leadership.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including work in a high-scale, growth-focused web environment.
- Track record of technical leadership and influencing direction across multiple teams or departments.
- Deep expertise in Next.js and the React ecosystem.
- Experience with headless CMS platforms such as Contentful or Sanity, including content modeling, migration, and multi-site architecture.
- Experience with Terraform, AWS, CloudFront, S3, Vercel, experimentation infrastructure, web analytics, and data instrumentation.
- Exceptional communication, cross-functional collaboration, mentorship, and full-stack codebase support skills.
