What you will do

• Implement the Adolescent Support and Counseling Services program at assigned middle and high school locations.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of referred adolescents and families.
• Develop individualized service plans with tailored goals, methods, and techniques.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling as needed.
• Promote resiliency, reduce mental health disorders and adolescent substance abuse, and develop life skills.
• Coordinate drug awareness campaigns and engage garrison command and other community stakeholders on adolescent substance-use trends.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited university; counseling programs must have CACREP accreditation.
• Required drug and alcohol certification, such as MRAS, CSAC, CAP, or CADAC.
• Independent clinical licensure as an LCSW, LMHC/LPC, LMFT, or clinical/counseling psychologist at PhD level.
• Behavioral health work experience.
• Experience with electronic medical records and ability to operate standard office and information devices.
• Ability to work under time pressure and maintain a rapid pace for extended periods.
