Post-Fixture Shipping Operator (Maritime Shipping)

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day post-fixture operational duties for ships and cargoes.
• Liaise with brokers, counterparties, owners, charterers, clients, and accounts teams.
• Monitor voyages, vessel itineraries, contractual obligations, and operational data.
• Check recaps, charter parties, freight and hire invoices, declarations, and port documentation.
• Coordinate load, discharge, and proceeding orders, including timely issuance of LOIs.
• Analyse operational issues and provide solutions while supporting the chartering team.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in shipping.
• Fluent Dutch and English.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships.
• Excellent organisation, time management, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, including out-of-office hours and weekends when required.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
